Linda has over 25 years professional experience primarily in Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity. Her expertise is in the integration of business continuity and disaster recovery planning.
Linda has had first-hand experience with recovery efforts and has managed several client disaster recoveries. She has served as the IBM National Disaster Duty Manager and has led command center disaster support efforts. Linda’s background in disaster recovery and business continuity planning functions includes risk assessment, business impact analysis, disaster preparedness, crisis management, and plan assessments.
Born in West Palm Beach, Florida, Linda holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Management from Tampa College. She is a Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) and holds a Project Management Master’s Certification from George Washington University. Linda has served as a commissioner of the DRI International Certification Commission and currently serves on the DRI Strategic Alliances Committee. She is also a Board Member and Membership Director for the Greater Tampa Bay Association of Contingency Planners (GTB-ACP). She has served as the Communications Director for the past 4 years and mentor for other contingency planners. She also has been an active member of the DRII Professional Practices Gap Committee, is a member of ARMA International and is ITIL Foundation certified.
