This session will be an educational session on the subject matter for BCP professionals. It will describe Swine Influenza, how will it spread, and why the Pandemic should be part of your BCP plans and what to do. It will also provide other scenarios that need to be planned for and why the Pandemic should be part of your BCP plans and what to do. Information will be provided from a number of public and private sources and the sources for further education will be given including an extensive bibliography.

Part B will be a workshop with all the participants playing various roles in the workshop. A hypothetical company’s BCP plans will be tested using the Pandemic as the regional disaster group
